As the only professional piercing studio in Athabasca since 2018, we pride ourselves on offering safe, clean and expert body piercing services in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Wether you're getting your first piercing or adding to your collection, our trained piercer uses industry-leading techniques and high-quality, implant grade jewelry that is in compliace with the Association of Professional Piercers to ensure the best possible experience.

Each service begins with a personalized consultation so we can guide you through jewelry options, placement, and proper aftercare. We take time to answer your questions, respect your boundaries, and create a space where you feel seen and supported.

Our head piercer at Vault Body Studio is a firm believer in always working towards the best that you can be. They are always receiving education from reputable professionals in all aspects of piercing so you can have a safe and sterile procedure done by an educated professional. We pride ourselves on being totally transparent with our clients with piercing and all other aspects of our studio.

At Vault Body Studio we use sterile and single use tools to ensure that your piercing is clean and safe. The jewelry We use is made of implant grade materials that are approved for use by the Association of Professional Piercers. 

We believe body piercing is more than just a procedure, it's a form of self-expression, empowerment and care. Safe piercing is for everyone and every body. 

We consider our success to be a well healed piercing on a happy client. transparency and accountability is our middle name! If we aren't 100% confident in our ability to pierce or if we're unsure of the viability of a certain piercing, we won't pierce you. Our clients are not just a paycheque to us, you are our friends, family and neighbours and we believe that you are entitled to a service that reflects that.

Piercing Minors and Children

A commonly asked question we get is “do you pierce children?” and the answer is Absolutely! At Vault Body Studio we are proud to offer a service where you can bring your children to get pierced in a safe space. A first piercing whether it be for a minor or an adult can be scary and anxiety inducing, it is important to us that we get kids started off right with piercing by offering a transparent, honest, communicative and encouraging environment. We like to empower our clients, especially children. A child’s first piercing is typically the first choice they get to make with their own body, we value making sure all our clients feel like the boss of their bodies!  Our clients' health and safety is our first priority, this includes our youngest clients. We do not have an official age limit for piercing because every child is different, our biggest concern with piercing young ones is making sure they have a good understanding of what they are doing to their body, and how to take care of their new piercing. For this reason, minors under the age of 12 are done on a case by case basis.


If you are interested in getting your child, nephew or nieces, grandchild, younger cousin or siblings ear pierced there are a few things to keep in mind before booking or coming in for a piercing.

  • The Piercer reserves the right to refuse piercing anyone if they feel it’s not in the clients best interest.

  • Legal guardian must be present for the piercing.

  • Valid Legal Photo ID from the legal guardian

  • Valid Legal Photo ID from the Minor/Child

  • Birth certificate, Proof of adoption or proof of legal guardianship. These documents must include both the names of the minor and legal guardian.


While all this documentation and paperwork may seem extensive, it is crucial to ensure maximum safety for the clients and piercers.

Are you Prepared for your piercing?

Before you leave for your piercing make sure you

  • Have an appointment booked/Confirmed we have time for you

  • Valid Legal Photo ID 

  • Are properly hydrated and nourished

  • You are not under the influence of Alcohol or Drugs

  • Not on accutane

  • Not pregnant



Booking, Cancellations, Deposits

At Vault Body Studio we offer appointments and walk ins we like to offer walk in days every other saturday because we understand that commitment is hard and it’s nice to be spontaneous and flexible. For walk in Piercings we suggest you call ahead to see if we’re having a walk in day and to see if we have time for you that day. For Appointments, call, text, email, come into the shop or use the online booking system.


Life happens and we get it! If you need to cancel your appointment we encourage you to give us 48 hours notice or as much notice as you possibly can, even if its 5 minutes. With that being said, if we have more than two late cancellations or “no-shows” we will be required to charge you a deposit if you choose to rebook.


Have an Appointment? Please show up on time. If you are 15 minutes late we may cancel your appointment so we don’t interfere with the clients booked after you.

If you’re running late let us know! We may be able to accommodate, if you’re more than 15 minutes late for your appointment this could result in a cancellation of your appointment.
